Temporary Vacant Seat Application Forms 2013/14
Please be aware that information and application forms are now available for completion on Staffordshire County Council's website for the Temporary Vacant Seat Transport Scheme for the academic year 2013/14.

The charge for a Temporary Vacant Seat for 2013/14 will remain at £500.00 as charged this year.

Applications are now available for completion. Applications are processed on a first-come first served basis with priority being given to current temporary vacant seat holders, so an early response will increase potential for success.

Some students will have had free home to school transport but this ends when you finish year 11. While your choice of transport to school or sixth form may be influenced by such factors as cost, flexibility and protecting the environment, ultimately it's your choice depending on your own personal circumstances.

Year 11 have one half term left before their GCSE exams officially start (and some will even start before then). It is important that pupils start revising early therefore. Parents can help by supporting their children with revision at home. The following link provides a free registration to study skills zone; an organisation who help motivate and advise pupils on how to be successful in their exams. Once signed up, you will receive emails and updates offering advice on how parents can support their child during the exam period.
