Initial Teacher Training
We’re proud to work in partnership with The John Taylor SCITT who offer initial teacher training in and around Staffordshire.
Their Primary 3-7, Primary 5-11 and Secondary 11-16 programmes offer a school led route into teacher training on a full or part time basis.
Weekly training sessions take place at the JTSCITT training centre in Barton under Needwood, with the other 80% of training taking place in one of their 50+ local partner schools.
Their small and friendly team offer first class support to trainees all the way from interview to the achievement of QTS.
To find out more about their routes into teaching, attend an information event or visit their website.
