Today (Tuesday 11th February 2025) is Safer Internet Day!
Keeping children safe online is a key feature of our PSHE curriculum, ICT lessons and pastoral provision. Students have enjoyed learning about how to protect themselves from online phishing and scams in tutor time this week with examples of how some things are “Too good to be true,” which is the theme of Internet Safety Day this year. It is important to have regular conversations about staying safe online and to encourage children to speak up if they come across something worrying online.
