EnviroTent promotes eco-friendly festival living. The tents are pre-pitched, non-polluting and personalised. EnviroTent was created by the Young Enterprise Team here at King Edward VI School, back in 2019.

The Managing Director of EnviroTent – Tayla Evans who carried on the business after the great success here, finally made it to Glastonbury!

How it All Began

EnviroTent began in 2019 as a team initiative for the Young Enterprise programme working within schools. Tayla Evans, then age 17, in her role of Managing Director, led her team to triumph in the 2020 YE UK finals and competed in the European finals.

After the programme ended, Tayla chose to grow EnviroTent, transforming it into an innovative camping solution that challenges plastic tent convention and champions sustainability.

The roots of EnviroTent are deeply embedded in the passion and determination of a young entrepreneur.

EnviroTent has teamed up with packaging firm DS Smith to help fight against 'tent trash' that is left after festivals during the summer.

The UK festival scene is an annual source of single-use plastic pollution. That is something people feel uncomfortable about. It should be guilt-free and fun. I would love festival organisers to think about how we can help festival goers avoid tent trash.

Their tent is 100% recyclable, unlike the thousands of tents left after music festivals that end up in land fill. The year (2020) was over shadowed due to COVID19 with Glastonbury being cancelled, the team were looking to go, but never made it!

Finally, EnviroTent has made it and they have been a great success!
