Former Students Debut Novel
We are delighted to announce that former pupil, Sarah Hartley has published her debut novel - Inkspy.
Book 1 of a planned series, the story focuses on 17 year old Lena, who discovers her family are part of a secret organisation, seeking justice. She realises her own fate is to join the Inkspies and avenge her father's death...
Sarah, who left the school in 2016, is thrilled to be returning, to deliver World Book Day assemblies and creative writing workshops to our students.
She credits her time in the school with developing her love of writing and had the idea for her initial book, whilst a student in Y8!
The school will be offering copies of the book for students to purchase and Sarah is very happy to sign copies, during her visit. Her novel is also available to purchase on Amazon.
