General enquiries

When contacting the school, our admin team will direct you to the person best placed to deal with your enquiry.  As a general guide, enquiries will be directed as follows: 

• Admissions – Headteacher’s PA
• Curriculum/subject specific enquiries – Head of Department
• Pastoral support – Student Support team
• Child protection/safeguarding issues – Safeguarding team

We will endeavour to respond to an email within 2 working days. For some enquiries this may be an initial acknowledgement of your email and an indication of the anticipated time for a response.

For urgent information or enquiries, please telephone the school as not all staff will access emails every day.

Visiting the school

King Edward VI School, Lichfield is committed to the highest standards in protecting and safeguarding the children entrusted in our care.

All visitors and volunteers must sign in at reception, wear an official visitors badge at all times when in school, and read and abide by our safeguarding advice for all visitors leaflet. This document is also available on reception.

When visiting the school, it is important to make an appointment so that we can ensure the person you wish to see is available. 

On arrival at the school, please report to Reception which is located at the Sports Centre on Kingshill Road.
