Year 11 - 12 Bridging Work

BRIDGING WORK ACTIVITIES

It is a long time between finishing your normal Year 11 lessons and beginning your new Level 3 courses in September here at King Edward VI School, Lichfield. To assist you with the start of these courses, we have put together some tasks and reading for you to complete based on the subjects you are hoping to study. These tasks are for you to complete independently. The object is to introduce you to your A level/BTEC/Camb Tech courses.

Many students find these Post-16 courses challenging compared to GCSE courses. These tasks will hopefully get your mind-set into gear before you start the course in Year 12. These bridging activities are designed to support students making this step up and prepare them for the rigours of Post-16 education.

The Open University provides some Free online courses for study skills.
